Founding of the Chemical Factory Marquard and Kirsch
Due to growing sales, our initial premises quickly proved to be too small, so we looked for a new location.

1985
New location and founding of Chemische Fabrik Kirsch GmbH
A former paper factory in Salzgitter-Gebhardshagen became our new home in 1985. At the same time, Dietrich Marquard and Heinz-Jürgen Kirsch parted ways, which led to the founding of Chemische Fabrik Kirsch GmbH.

1989
Start of internationalization
Our continuous internationalization started in 1989 with Kirsch Pharma Denmark ApS. This was followed by the establishment of subsidiaries in Spain, South Africa, Russia, China, Singapore and Australia.

1997
Name changed to Kirsch Pharma
Due to the increasing focus on pharmaceutical raw materials, we renamed our Salzgitter plant Kirsch Pharmaum in 1997.

2015
Foundation of Kirsch Pharma HealthCare
Our new facility in Bissendorf-Wedemark has been dedicated to the production of finished pharmaceutical dosage forms since 2015.

New strategy, new market
With regard to the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical market, we have presented our new strategic vision for 2024. Under the name Kirsch BioPharm GmbH, we are taking a leading role in this field and setting new standards.
